“Every Limitation Is Not As Solid

As You Think”

In 1983 the late great Robert Anton Wilson wrote a classic book that would have a big impact on many NLP masters. The book is called Prometheus Rising.


In it, Wilson (who later was grandfathered in as a Meta Cosmic Grandmaster of NLP by Dr. Richard Bandler) outlined how the human mind behaves as though it were divided into two parts:


The Thinker and The Prover.

“The Thinker can think absolutely anything - the earth is flat, the earth is round, he loves me, she loves me not. The Prover's job is much more simple - what the thinker thinks, the prover proves. If the thinker thinks "holy water" from Lourdes will cure his/her illness, the prover will find evidence that this is so.

Wilson goes on to show how the beliefs and worldview you hold (aka your reality tunnel) is little more than the product of the thoughts the prover in you has proven


Or in other words, ‘reality’ as we most commonly think of it is simply a story, a coherent structure our brains believe in.


And that story and coherent structure can be changed quite easily.


This is GREAT NEWS!


With the right knowledge, the door is wide open for anyone to change beliefs they don’t like, quickly and easily.

Can changing beliefs be this straightforward?


You bet. Remember what the thinker thinks, the prover proves.


Our beliefs act as filters on what we will notice and do. They operate largely outside our conscious awareness so learning to take control of the driving force that is guiding your life is fundamental to unlocking more of your potential, right?


Luckily for us there are several little-known tools to take control of the process and engineer a new network of beliefs that few people know.
