4 Traits of High Performers
Small changes can create profound differences, when you adopt a better wordlview.
Tom O'Connor
In the early days of NLP, one of the key attitudes that got drilled into every NLPer (but has been lost over the decades since) is the idea that:
“If your worldview doesn’t work - change it!”
But you can’t actively change something you don’t realise you have.
So many people are unaware that they have a worldview and even less realise how tenaciously their worldview limits them from having what they want.
Worldviews aren’t good or bad, they produce certain kinds of outcomes, predictabily. If you are the kind of person who reads lots of books but your life hasn’t changed for the better…
…the problem isn’t you, it’s your worldview.
It’s that you are repeating the same pattern over and over again and haven’t learned how to adopt the worldview of someone who is creating the results you want.
While there are countless number of potential worldviews, there is a pattern of traits present in people who can produce far better results than the masses - we call them high performers.
High Performers have four traits that are responsible for creating disproportionate results for themselves, their clients and their lives. So if your worldview isn't producing the outcomes that you want, maybe now's a good time to consider trying a new worldview on.
