Meet The Building Blocks of 'Reality'

Changing It Gets Far Easier When You Master This One Key Skill.

If you've studied with us before you might have heard Master Trainer Michael Breen tell a story about the big bang theory, and how one Thursday, many moons ago there was nothing and suddenly there was something. A whole lot of something came into being.

What occurred before the big bang, no one really knows because our current understanding of physics and cosmology breaks down near the moment of the Big Bang itself, making it difficult to extrapolate beyond that point.

There’s a lot of similarities between that and the kinds of ‘leaps of faith’ that are frequently expressed, or assumed to be true, by teachers of NLP and self-help.

Just about everyone who studies personal development and NLP is working with concepts that were created to describe certain processes. We have beliefs, values, meta-programs, strategies etc. They sound real, but when you dig into them you discover, they aren't nearly as 'real' as gurus would have people believe.

Before beliefs, values, meta-programmes and strategies we have primordial patterns. These patterns or preconscious filters guide and inform what makes it on to our maps or models of the world.

The fundamental building blocks upon which all of our behaviours, habits and preferences are built are:

Awareness, attention and choices.

How we use our awareness, direct our attention and the choices (conscious or unconscious) that we make, determines what gets coded onto our mental models and ultimetly what habits get hooked up in our nervous system.

These foundational building blocks largely dictate what kind of personal reality you will experience every single day of your life. And what you will find a challenge vs what you'll find easy to do.

When you know how direct, guide and shape how people (or yourself) use awareness and attention, you can alter indivduals or groups realities far quicker without needing to use conventional NLP techniques.

The best way to start to do this, is by doing it. So here’s a helpful exercise which will help you begin to discover how potent these building blocks can be for discovering how you create your own personal reality.
